Legendary USSR Footballer Nikita Simonyan Passes Away
Legendary USSR footballer and top scorer in the history of the "Spartak" club, Nikita Simonyan has passed away. This information was released by Match TV, referencing Alexander Mirzoyan, president of the Russian Football Veterans Association.
“Nikita Pavlovich felt unwell on November 20 and was hospitalized. Today he has passed away,” said Alexander Mirzoyan.
Nikita Simonyan was a legendary footballer of the USSR, an Olympic champion, and a coach for Ararat ’73. He left us just shy of his 100th year, leaving a significant mark in the history of Soviet football.
