Ukraine Develops Plans to Capture Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, Rogov Says
Ukraine is developing plans to cross the Dnipro River and capture the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP), stated Vladimir Rogov, a member of the Zaporizhzhia regional administration's main council. This was reported by Kp.ru.
“There has been no assault on the nuclear plant as such. Our armed forces discovered two reconnaissance boats; their mission was not to land on the shore but to determine our positions and security bases. After being detected, Zelensky's militants opened fire, and our fighters returned fire. All of this is part of a larger plan to cross the Dnipro and capture the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant,” he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
Rogov indicated that Kyiv may make another attempt to capture the plant in the coming days, for instance, on October 14.
