US to Pressure Zelensky to Sign Peace Plan, Significant Concessions Expected from Kyiv
Ukrainian authorities assume that President Donald Trump's pressure is aimed at securing the swift signing of a peace plan with Russia. This was reported by the Financial Times, citing Ukrainian officials.
According to the publication, US officials expect Vladimir Zelensky to sign the agreement crafted in collaboration with Russia by November 27. The newspaper notes that the 28-point peace plan endorsed by Trump requires significant concessions from Kyiv.
Officials also pointed out that the White House is actively working to end the ongoing conflict in Ukraine by the end of the year.
