Deputy Minister of Health Resigns
The Deputy Minister of Health of Armenia, Artem Smbatyan, has submitted his resignation. He announced this in a post on Facebook.
“As of today, I am halting my work as the Deputy Minister of Health. I will continue my over 10-year-long service in the public sector in a different field,” Smbatyan wrote.
Smbatyan has worked in the healthcare sector for approximately three years in various capacities. He was appointed Deputy Minister of Health on December 20, 2019.
It is reported that Smbatyan is expected to be appointed as the Deputy Head of the State Revenue Committee in the near future.
