Peskov Denies Reports of Secret US-Russia Negotiations
Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Russia, told reporters that there has been no progress in Moscow-Washington negotiations following a meeting in Alaska, RBC reports.
He referred to a publication by Axios, which stated that Russia and the United States are secretly working on a new plan to end the conflict in Ukraine.
Peskov emphasized that "there are still no developments to report," noting that there have been no additional changes apart from the discussions that took place in Anchorage.
Previously, Axios, citing officials from the US and Russia, reported that the administration of former President Donald Trump was secretly consulting with Russia to develop a new plan for resolving the Russo-Ukrainian conflict.
