Armed Attack Threatens Poland, Says Chief of Armed Forces
The Chief of the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces, Wiesław Kukula, has announced that the country is likely facing preparations for an armed attack. This was reported by the magazine 'Rzecz pospolita'.
Wiesław Kukula made this statement in response to U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin's remark that the world is in a situation reminiscent of 1939 and 1981.
"This is a very apt comparison, as everything today depends on our stance—whether we can deter the adversary or, conversely, push them towards aggression," stated the Chief of the Polish Armed Forces.
