Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky Has Left Kyiv, Says Volodin
Vyacheslav Volodin, the chairman of the State Duma of Russia, has claimed that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has left Kyiv, according to RIA Novosti.
“He was not in Kyiv already yesterday; he had gone to Lviv. All video messages are pre-recorded,” Volodin stated.
He added that this information was provided by members of the Verkhovna Rada who attempted to meet with Zelensky in Kyiv. However, he invited them to Lviv for their meeting instead.
It is worth recalling that in the early hours of February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a decision to conduct a special military operation against Ukraine, as the LPR and DPR had asked for assistance. In a televised address to the Russian people, he stated that circumstances demanded decisive and immediate action.
