Araghchin Clarifies Conditions for Resuming Talks with the U.S.
The Iranian Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchin, has announced that there is currently no opportunity to conduct negotiations with the United States. According to Mehr news agency, the minister stated that the reason is the lack of a constructive and positive approach from Washington.
In an interview with the governmental information center, Araghchin mentioned that Iran sees no necessary conditions for initiating dialogue. He emphasized that Tehran has always been ready for negotiations only when they are based on equality and mutual interests.
“Every time the Americans are prepared for negotiations based on equality and common interests, then it will be possible to talk about their resumption,” said Araghchin.
