Trump Asked Aliyev Why He Stopped and Continued to Seize Territories: Whittkopf
The U.S. President's Special Representative has praised Ilham Aliyev's decision regarding the resolution of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict.
“In August, Trump asked Aliyev in the Oval Office why he had stopped and did not continue the attack in the war against Armenia. In response, Aliyev said that he only needed what they had taken, and he did not need anything more. And this is an excellent decision, as moving forward would have embarrassed Pashinyan internationally. This is an example of a statesman,” said Steve Whittkopf.
