Investigation Committee on Vahan Kerobyan's Arrest
A criminal case has been initiated against members of a criminal group who, from 2008 to 2014, allegedly embezzled approximately 73.8 hectares of land belonging to the municipality of Yerevan and committed large-scale money laundering. This was announced by the spokesperson of the Investigation Committee, Kima Avdalyan, in a post on Facebook.
In an interview with Auroranews.am, Avdalyan stated that during the preliminary investigation, 9 individuals have been arrested, and a request has been submitted to the court for the selection of pre-trial detention as a measure of restraint.
Additionally, it was noted that among those arrested is former Minister of Economy of Armenia, Vahan Kerobyan.
