Serzh Sargsyan: Where Would I Flee From? Even If I Were Sure I Would Be Sentenced to Death
“Do you think I look like someone who can flee?” stated the third President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, after a court session when asked by journalists about the law enforcement's claims regarding his potential departure from Armenia.
“You interpret it yourself. Where have I fled from that I would flee from here? Even if I were sure that any court in Armenia would sentence me to death, I would not flee this country. This is my country; it is not theirs. Where should I flee from my own country? What operational data are they even talking about? With that data, I should have fled long ago,” he added.
