October 27: A Day of National Grief and Unity - Sargsyan
October 27 is one of the most painful days in the recent history of our people. This was stated by Nairi Sargsyan, the head of the "I am Armenia" initiative, on his Facebook page.
“On that day, the gunshots heard in the parliament took the lives of those who posed no immediate threat to our state, but rather loved Armenia and believed in its future. They symbolized the strength of Armenia's statehood through their ideas and dedication, representing the bright path we must continue,” he wrote.
“We bow before the memory of the victims and are determined to condemn any violence that threatens Armenia's independence and peace. May their memory live on as an eternal testimony to our people's unity and patriotism,” he concluded.
