Citizens of Armenia to Receive 2% Cashback on Payments via 'ArCa' Cards Starting 2026
Citizens of Armenia will be able to receive a 2% cashback on payments made with 'ArCa' cards starting from January 1, 2026. This announcement was made by Finance Minister Vahe Hakobyan during a joint meeting of the permanent committees of the National Assembly, during the preliminary discussions of the 2026 state budget.
"The program has been developed in collaboration with the 'ArCa' system and is currently in its finalization phase. Our goal is to launch it on January 1. All citizens who hold 'ArCa' cards, except for transactions in the gaming sector, will receive the cashback," noted Hakobyan.
According to the minister, this step will promote the development of cashless payments and reduce cash circulation. "As a result, cashless trade will effectively be 2% cheaper, while cash transactions will be relatively more expensive," he emphasized.
