Russia Transfers 1000 Soldiers' Bodies to Ukraine and Receives 31 in Return
Russia and Ukraine have exchanged the bodies of fallen soldiers, as announced by Vladimir Medinsky, the presidential aide and head of the Russian delegation at the Istanbul talks.
“Today, within the framework of the Istanbul agreements, Russia has handed over 1000 bodies of those who fell among Ukraine's armed forces to Ukraine. In return, the Ukrainian side has provided us with 31 bodies of fallen Russian soldiers. This is the statistics,” he wrote on Telegram.
The previous exchange was reported on September 18, when Moscow handed over 1000 bodies to Kyiv and received 24 in return.
