Powerful Earthquake in Russia

A strong earthquake with a magnitude of 6 has been recorded near the shores of Kamchatka in Russia. This information was disseminated by the Kamchatka branch of the United Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

According to the announcement, the epicenter of the earthquake was located 233 kilometers from the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and at a depth of 8.9 kilometers.

At this moment, there are no reports of destructive consequences or tsunami threats stemming from the earthquake. Experts have warned that new earthquakes may occur in the region.
