The Maximum Refund for Pensioners from Cashless Transactions Will Increase to 10,000 Drams
The government plans to make the process of providing refunds to pensioners from cashless payments continuous by extending the deadline until December 31, 2026, inclusive. This was announced in a draft decision circulated on the unified website for the publication of legal acts.
The draft also proposes to increase the rate applied to the amount of cashless payments from 12% to 20% for the calculation of the refund and to raise the maximum limit of the refund from 6,000 drams to 10,000 drams. As a result of these changes, the pensions of pensioners receiving cashless payments and making cashless purchases will increase by 3,000 to 4,000 drams.
