Azerbaijan's Deputy Prime Minister on Relations with Russia and Iran
Azerbaijan is the only country that shares a land border with both Iran and Russia. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev, as reported by the APA agency.
“This geographical position allows Azerbaijan to develop relations with both Russia and Iran. Azerbaijan pursues a friendly policy with both the Russian Federation and the Islamic Republic of Iran, and has established friendly relations. These relations are multidimensional and extensive,” said the Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan.
