Russian Law Enforcement Seeks Legal Assistance from Armenia's Prosecutor General in Spayka Case
Russian law enforcement has submitted a request for legal assistance to Armenia's Prosecutor General regarding the criminal case of Spayka, the largest agricultural cargo carrier in Armenia. This information was provided by the Prosecutor's Office in response to a written inquiry by Radio Liberty.
The Prosecutor's Office has declined to disclose the grounds and details of the request. Over 100 Spayka trucks have been stranded in Russia for nearly 1.5 months. During this time, Spayka has not specified the nature of the legal proceedings involving the company in Russia. Earlier, Karine Baghdasaryan, one of the company’s directors, stated that their lawyers have not been able to obtain official responses.
Spayka has characterized the actions of the Russian side as 'aggressive.'
