Higher Levels of Air Pollution Observed in Central Yerevan, Says Tigran Avinyan
As of 11:00 AM, higher levels of air pollution have been observed in central Yerevan due to its geographical location. According to data from the sensors, the pollution level stands at 105, which is in the range considered unhealthy for sensitive groups. This was reported by Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan on his Facebook page.
“In other parts of the capital, air quality is relatively better. Although this indicator does not have a short-term negative effect on the health of the general population, it can adversely affect individuals with respiratory issues. Therefore, it is advised for those with respiratory problems to limit their time spent outdoors. Engaging in outdoor sports is also not recommended,” Avinyan stated.
