Give it to me: Trump's request to the Nobel Prize laureate

U.S. President Donald Trump has spoken with Nobel Peace Prize laureate Maria Corina Machado after his administration condemned Machado to the committee awarding the prize, CNN reported.

Trump confirmed that he had spoken with Machado, adding that she was “very kind” during their conversation. “The person who actually received the Nobel Prize called me today and said, ‘I accept this in your honor because you truly deserve it.’ That was a very nice gesture,” Trump said.

According to him, the Nobel laureate is very kind. “Well, in that case, give it to me, although I think she could have done that. She was very kind,” Trump joked.
