Current Situation at Nubarashen Landfill: Ministry of Emergency Situations
Firefighting efforts continue at the Nubarashen landfill. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, as of 13:00 on October 11, firefighting activities are ongoing at the site covering an area of 2 hectares. Involved in the efforts are 6 firefighting units, 2 operational groups (31 rescuers), 11 trucks from Yerevan City Hall, 2 water trucks, and 5 engineering vehicles.
A total of 107 vehicles of earth have been transported to the fire site, and 91 tons of water have been deployed. The director of the Emergency Situations Rescue Service and Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations, Kamo Tsutsulyan, is currently on-site.
