UN Calls to Prevent Interference with Trump's Gaza Plan
The UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator, Tom Fletcher, has warned about attempts to undermine President Donald Trump's plans for Gaza. “There will be people who will try to disrupt the President's plan, and that must not be allowed,” he stated.
However, he did not name any specific individuals, only referring to proponents of a “hardline” on both sides of the conflict.
“I believe there are hardliners on both sides who have tried in the past to delay or obstruct efforts to free hostages and to provide assistance,” the UN official added.
