Instruct Your Ambassadors in Baku to Visit Armenian Detainees in Azerbaijani Prisons: Mamijanyan to the EC Secretary General
I have no questions for Nikol Pashinyan—leaving that to the investigative bodies in the future—but taking advantage of the fact that Armenia is in the spotlight at the PACE, I would like to address you, Mr. President, Secretary General, and representatives from member countries. I urge you to instruct your ambassadors in Baku to visit Armenian captives held in Azerbaijani prisons.
This was stated by the leader of the 'I Have Honor' parliamentary faction, Hayk Mamijanyan. 'Since the closure of the Red Cross office, we and their relatives have had no information about the wellbeing of our compatriots. This is the least you can do for them. Please do this immediately to prove that Europe still believes in humanity.'
'This was the 'question' I was preparing to ask Pashinyan at the PACE, but since the ratio of his speech duration to Q&A content did not differ from that of the National Assembly, none of the registered deputies were given the right to ask questions (only questions from political groups were allowed). Despite this, I will find channels to voice and resolve this issue,' wrote Hayk Mamijanyan, the leader of the 'I Have Honor' faction.
