New Regulations at the Upper Lars Border Checkpoint Starting October 1
Starting from October 1, 2025, electronic ticketing for entry dates and times will be implemented at Russian vehicle border checkpoints, including the Upper Lars checkpoint. This was reported by the State Revenue Committee (SRC).

The committee also informs that Russian partners suggest that foreigners, as well as those conducting automobile transportation from Armenia, register their personal accounts and vehicle cards in advance on the electronic platform. The following steps are required for registration:
- Register on the electronic platform,
- Confirm your email and phone number,
- Receive confirmation after data verification,
- Create a vehicle card by attaching a copy of the vehicle registration document, and receive confirmation after data verification.
