The Situation in Ukraine is Tragic: Georgian Prime Minister
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili has responded to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's statement at the United Nations General Assembly, according to Georgia's First Channel.
Garibashvili emphasized that Georgia is "ten heads above" all candidate countries in terms of human rights and democracy. "As for the situation regarding democracy and human rights in Ukraine, it is tragic in both aspects. When one begins to speak about democracy and human rights in Georgia in such a situation, it is absurd in itself. Georgia is the unequivocal leader among the EU candidate countries, including in terms of democracy and human rights. We are ten heads above all candidate countries in both human rights and democracy," noted the Georgian Prime Minister.
