The West is an Immediate Participant in the Ukrainian Conflict: Lavrov
The Western countries are immediate participants in the Ukrainian conflict, stated Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
“Ukrainian leaders are saying themselves that if the supply of more and more offensive weapons to Ukraine does not continue, they will lose. This confession only means one thing: the West is directly involved in this conflict,” he said in an interview with the Cuban publication Prensa-Latina.
According to the diplomat, if it were not for Western countries, the conflict in Ukraine would have ended long ago, and at that time, the threats hanging over the Russian-speaking population since the coup of 2014 would have been eliminated.
Lavrov noted that the Kyiv regime has used the West not only to destroy everything Russian but also to create direct threats to the security of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine.
