Heri, Mer, Erexa Enq Hayhoyum: Pashinyan on the Greatest Problem of Democracy
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has identified where the greatest problem of democracy lies. He made this statement during the "Democracy Forum." According to him, there is no organic connection between the judiciary and the people. Under the current constitution, the judicial authority does not only not stem from the people, but also the link between the people and the judiciary is severed, whereas in our country, power belongs to the people.
“Heri, mer, erexa enq hayhoyum, is this our democracy today, who is fighting against this?” he added.
According to him, in order to fill this “gap,” he intends to establish an institute of sworn representatives in Armenia.
