Trump: Now is Not the Time to Ask Putin for a Ceasefire
US President Donald Trump stated that now is not the time to ask Russian President Vladimir Putin for a ceasefire. He made the remarks while speaking to reporters on the plane. Trump also promised to be tough if necessary.
After a meeting with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Trump noted that the UK Prime Minister agrees that Europe should stop buying Russian oil. Previously, during a press conference with the UK Prime Minister, Trump expressed that Putin has disappointed him.
The American president mentioned that he believed ending the Ukraine conflict would be the easiest issue due to his relationship with Putin, but it has proven to be much more difficult. Trump expressed great disappointment that the conflict has still not been resolved.
