Israel Refuses to Accept Hostages: Hamas Issues Statement
Israel has commenced an expanded ground operation in Gaza and has refused to accept hostages held there, stating that it will not take them in, either alive or dead. This is according to a statement from the Hamas group, as quoted by TACC.
“Your captives are located in various parts of the city, and since Netanyahu has decided to kill them all, we will not strive to keep them alive either. The initiation and expansion of the operation in Gaza means that you will not accept hostages—neither alive nor dead,” the statement reads.
The militants have also threatened to capture Israeli soldiers participating in the ground operation.
