Russian Air Defense Forces Shot Down 53 Drones Last Night

Russian air defense forces shot down 53 unmanned aerial vehicles in Rostov, Saratov, Kursk, Belgorod regions, and Krasnodar Krai last night. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense, according to kommersant.ru.

“The standby air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 44 in Rostov, 1 in Saratov, 1 in Kursk, 1 in Belgorod, and 6 in Krasnodar,” the department stated.

A fire broke out in the Central Market area in Kursk due to one of the downed drones falling. Meanwhile, in the Morozovsk region of Rostov, an electrical substation was damaged during a drone attack. There have been no reports of injuries.
