The Army Should Be the Last Resort for Security – Nikol Pashinyan

When your number one tool for ensuring security is the army, then you do not have security. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during an international security conference.

“The army should not even be the second, third, fourth, or fifth tool; the army should be the absolute last option for security,” he said.

According to the Prime Minister, if we want the army to protect us, we must protect the army first, and if we want the soldier to protect us, we must be the first to protect the soldier.

Pashinyan added that in the past, the markets for arms procurement for Armenia were very limited, but now they are unlimited.
