Odesa Officially Recognized as a War Zone
Odesa has officially been recognized as a war zone. This was confirmed by a decree signed by the Minister of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine.
The city, along with the settlements and territorial units of seven districts in Odesa Oblast, has been granted official status as areas where military operations are taking place. In addition to the regional center and villages, the list includes cities that house maritime port infrastructure.
