Trump to Seek Ceasefire in Ukraine with Putin, Macron Says
French President Emmanuel Macron has announced that Trump will seek to establish a ceasefire in Ukraine during a meeting with Putin in Alaska. Additionally, the French leader emphasized that, according to Trump, territorial issues will only be resolved in conjunction with the President of Ukraine.
It is worth noting that on August 13, an online summit on the peace situation in Ukraine was held at the initiative of German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, featuring President Trump, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, leaders of European states, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
