Recording Reveals 'Sacred' Movement Organizers Calling the Public 'Donkeys'
A recording has surfaced where organizers of the "Sacred" movement repeatedly refer to the public as "donkeys." Maria Karapetyan, a member of the ruling Civil Contract party, shared this information on her Facebook page.
"Yes, this is precisely how the infamous recording begins. They continue to discuss their perception of their own people, determining the themes that should be 'bombarded' in order to incite this public to 'revolt.' At one point, a 'technologist' selling his 'product' laments that the spokespersons of the movement do not understand the subjects that need to be addressed. A few minutes later, he complains again, stating that he personally finds it difficult to speak, while clear communication is necessary," she wrote.
"And finally, at the culminating point where the 'technologist' laments once more that 'changing people's consciousness' is hard, Bagrat Galstanyan suggests that instead of convincing and preaching, a few should be put against the wall and shot or imprisoned. Apparently, we were discussing the concept of a future state. But how does the methodology of a future state differ from that of a coup?" she continued.
She suggested that the entire recording of the following segment should be published. On May 21, 2025, at 14:53, at the residence of Vazgen Galstanyan, MP Arthur Sargsyan commented: "If we don’t meet with the group leaders and make an announcement, we’re already filling out this document that the saint is organizing a violent change of power; one group is this, another group is that; these are already fixed. If you think that this is being done, it has long been established."
It’s worth noting that Johannes Khudoyan, a member of Bagrat’s defense team, presented evidence claiming that the recordings on which Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan's accusations are based have been manipulated.
