Ukrainian Defense Forces Liberate Two Villages in Sumy Region

The Ukrainian Defense Forces have liberated the settlements of Stepnoye and Novokonstantinovka in the Sumy region, according to Ukrainian media reports citing the country's Armed Forces General Staff.

The General Staff explained that the defense forces are making every effort to thwart the Russians' offensive plans and deplete their combat potential.

It has been noted that the enemy is utilizing its numerical advantage and, despite suffering significant personnel losses, attempts to infiltrate the front lines of Ukrainian positions in small groups.

The General Staff reported that the Commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi, has decided to allocate additional forces and resources to detect and eliminate enemy sabotage groups that penetrate the defensive line.
