Nikol Pashinyan Informs Macron About Washington Negotiations
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a telephone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron. The Prime Minister presented the outcomes of the negotiations that took place on August 8 in Washington, D.C., particularly highlighting the pre-signing of the 'Agreement on Peace and Inter-State Relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan,' the joint appeal to the OSCE regarding the dissolution of the OSCE Minsk Group mechanisms, the unblocking of regional communications based on the principles of territorial integrity, sovereignty, and jurisdiction, as well as the 'Trump Path for International Peace and Prosperity' initiative.
Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized that the established peace opens new investment opportunities in Armenia and the region. The interlocutors expressed mutual readiness to continue active political dialogue on bilateral and international agendas. Prime Minister Pashinyan thanked President Macron for the continuous support.
