Lars Closed to All Types of Vehicles
Lars has been closed to all types of vehicles due to the risk of landslides. This information is reported by the North Ossetia Road Management Center.
"Due to the deteriorating weather conditions, the threat of mudslides, and the inability to ensure safe traffic for motor vehicles, as well as taking into account the instructions of the Georgian border police, traffic is prohibited for all types of motor vehicles on the Vladikavkaz-Lars route," the statement said.
The restriction is in effect for those exiting the Russian Federation, starting from 20:15 Yerevan time. The authorities are urging drivers to refrain from using the specified road.
