Fire Out in Khosrov
On July 26, at 14:20, an operational group on duty in the Khosrov State Reserve detected a fire in the grassy area of Unit No. 1. This was reported by the Emergency Situations Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Four firefighting units and 12 operational groups from the Emergency Situations Service responded to the scene.
The fire was contained on July 26 at 19:04 and was completely extinguished by July 27 at 22:16.
The firefighting efforts involved the Police forces, employees of the reserve, the Ecological Patrol Service, partner organizations, local residents, and a military helicopter from the Ministry of Defense.
Approximately 3 hectares of grassland, trees, and shrubs were burned. Firefighters established a watch duty.
The fire suppression operations were led on-site by Kamo Tsutsulyan, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and Director of the Emergency Situations Service.
