America to Repeal Numerous Regulations Using Artificial Intelligence
The U.S. government's Department of Efficiency (DOGE) plans to utilize artificial intelligence to cut the number of federal regulations by half, according to a report by the Washington Post citing its sources.
According to the publication, the agency has developed a specialized tool based on artificial intelligence that aims to analyze approximately 200,000 federal regulations to determine which can be repealed as they are no longer mandated by law. Based on slides from a presentation obtained by the newspaper, around 100,000 regulations are expected to be repealed in this manner.
This initiative is projected to save trillions of U.S. dollars by reducing regulations and the federal budget while also attracting external investments.
