Major Car Accident in Aragatsotn Province: One Fatality and Injuries

On July 20, at 15:33, a call was received at the Crisis Management Center of the Aragatsotn regional rescue department reporting a traffic accident on the Areg-Hatsashen road, where a car had overturned and caught fire.

Emergency responders were dispatched from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' regional rescue unit. It was discovered that an 'Opel' vehicle had gone off the roadway near the 12th kilometer of the Talin-Hatsashen road, collided with an embankment, and subsequently ignited.

The driver and passenger were transported to a medical center, where the driver was pronounced dead. The fire was contained by 15:58 and extinguished by 16:13. The vehicle was completely burned.
