Lebedev on Armenia's Possible Exit from the CIS
There has been no indication of Armenia's desire to exit the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), and this option is ruled out. This was stated by the organization's Secretary General Sergey Lebedev during the 106th meeting of the CIS Economic Council.
"I completely exclude this option; we have no signs that Armenia is preparing to leave the CIS. I want to say, also Azerbaijan," he said in response to a question about the possibility of Armenia exiting the organization, against the backdrop of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's statements regarding the potential withdrawal of Armenia from the CSTO and plans to join the EU.
