Be Careful When Coming to Armenia, Says Pashinyan to Samvel Karapetyan
The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, has responded to the statements made by Russian-Armenian businessman Samvel Karapetyan. "Can Karapetyan even think about behaving in Armenia the way he does in his country of primary citizenship? If, by chance, a thought like that crosses his mind in his primary country of citizenship, he won't allow others to act; he’ll jump out the window voluntarily from the highest floor possible. I say, excuse me, is Armenia a 'prakhadnoy dvore'?"
Pashinyan added, "Just as you behave in your country of primary citizenship, be a bit more mindful when coming to Armenia. This is a nation, and I have said that the taste of the state will remain in your mouths. So, do we consider this some half-open joint-stock company where one person decides to send someone to someone else?" He emphasized that anyone who attempts to infringe upon the statehood of Armenia will face severe consequences, stating, "the steel mandate will be activated."
