Israel Conducts Airstrikes in Lebanon: Order to Eliminate Hezbollah
Israeli military forces have conducted airstrikes in southern Lebanon's border areas. The aim is to eliminate military targets belonging to the Hezbollah organization. This was reported by the army's press service, according to TASS.
"In accordance with the ceasefire agreements signed between Israel and Lebanon, the Israel Defense Forces continue to operate to eliminate threats to the state of Israel and to prevent the presence of the Hezbollah terrorist organization," the statement from the IDF's press service reads.
According to the press release, Israeli troops have identified and destroyed a weapons depot and several firing points belonging to Hezbollah.
