Change in Vehicle Technical Inspection Regulations
The Chair of the Permanent Committee on Economic Issues of the National Assembly, Babken Tunyan, presented new changes regarding vehicle technical inspections during today’s session.
“Previously, when people brought their cars for technical inspection, they were required to pay off their property tax debts, including not just the previous year’s debt, but the entire property tax for the current year. A change has been introduced to the law allowing citizens to pay only the accumulated debt to undergo technical inspection. There is no obligation to pay the property tax for the current year to have their vehicles inspected,” Tunyan stated.
The law came into effect on July 1 of this year.
