Administrative Penalties for Failing to Pay Fare Established by Law
The National Assembly has adopted a bill on the second reading, establishing administrative penalties for not paying fares when using public transport in Yerevan. The vote was 61 in favor, 26 against, and 1 abstention.
According to the bill, the proposed administrative penalties are as follows: 3,000 AMD for not validating the ticket or card after boarding the transport; 10,000 AMD for using the transport without paying; and 15,000 AMD for using a fare exemption intended for another person.
