Bagrat and Michael are Intentionally Placed in the Same Cell, Lawyer Claims
The former head of the Tavush Diocese, Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, whose clergy status has been suspended, and the Archbishop of Shirak, Michael Azhapayev, are in the same cell. This was stated by lawyer Ara Zohrapyan during a conversation with journalists.
"They did it intentionally to be able to record their conversations," he said.
Both individuals are currently in detention for two months.
