What Lukashenko and Trump’s Special Envoy Discussed
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has met with U.S. President Donald Trump’s special envoy Keith Kellogg. This was reported by Lenta.ru.
It is noted that the senior official from Trump's administration plans to visit Belarus to meet with the leader of the republic. The meeting comes amid the backdrop of inconclusive negotiations for a ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia.
Previously, Lukashenko stated that citizens of Belarus should not expect armed conflict in the near future. According to him, there will be no war “if we decisively stand today for the thoughts and hearts of our children and our youth.” Earlier, Lukashenko had outlined the causes of the conflict in Ukraine.
