The President of the National Assembly, Alen Simonian, has made a post: ‘I want to understand how many oil paintings by Samvel Karapetyan are displayed in Etchmiadzin and what the logic is behind placing them next to holy images. Are they hung higher than the pictures of Jesus and the Virgin Mary, or at the same level? And do some clergymen kiss them or cross themselves in front of them when passing by?’
