Armenian Businessman Arrested on Suspicion of Ukrainian Parliament Member's Death
Law enforcement officials have arrested businessman Arayik Amirkhanyan on suspicion of acting against former Supreme Rada member Ilya Kiva. According to reports by Baza, the businessman is believed to have monitored the victim and provided information about his location to the Security Service of Ukraine.
Amirkhanyan is currently being held in one of Moscow's detention centers on unrelated charges of bribery. Notably, details regarding the former parliament member's assassination emerged on December 6, 2023, when he was found near a hotel in the Moscow region with a laceration on his right temple. At that time, there were also reports suggesting that the former parliament member could have been under surveillance.
