Explosions in Russia Linked to Kyiv's Actions: BBC
Two explosions that occurred this morning in the Desantnaya Bay of Vladivostok are reported to be operations carried out by the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine's Ministry of Defense, according to Russia's BBC service citing sources.
According to the media outlet, the explosions took place in the area where the 47th separate airborne assault battalion of the 155th separate guards naval infantry brigade is stationed. Checkpoints as well as the location of military personnel and command have come under attack.
It is noted that there have been injuries due to the explosions, and military equipment and special gear have been damaged. Local residents report that around ten ambulances and evacuation helicopters arrived at the scene, while military vehicles have been removed from the base's territory.
Recall that the anti-terrorism commission of the Primorsky Krai reported two explosions in the Desantnaya Bay. Russian authorities claim that there were no casualties or damages, stating that the explosions were caused by the ignition of gas cylinders.
